What's the difference between mini pancakes and poffertjes?

While they may look similar, poffertjes are not just mini pancakes, which often rely on toppings for flavor. Oma’s Poffertjes are fluffy, soufflé-like Dutch delights — unique, decadent, and delicious on their own.

Unlike standard mini pancakes, our poffertjes don’t need the extras (though they’re available). We recommend enjoying them the traditional way — just as they come!

We cater events starting from a minimum of 30 guests all the way up to 2,000 guests. Whether it’s an intimate backyard birthday or a large-scale corporate event. Whether it’s poffertjes or stroopwafels, we’ve got the capacity, equipment and the professionally trained staff to keep your crowd delighted.

At Oma’s Poffertjes, we bring two signature Dutch delights to your events:
 • Poffertjes Catering – Fresh, fluffy mini Dutch pancakes cooked live on our griddles and served with our signature toppings. Perfect for weddings, parties, and special occasions.
 • Stroopwafel Catering – Traditional caramel-filled waffle cookies, individually pressed and served warm for a unique treat your guests won’t forget.
Whether you choose one or both, our team sets up, serves, and makes sure your event has that unforgettable authentic touch.
